We recommend as much as you like! Because it is a completely natural product, you can apply this lotion to your pets skin as often as you'd like. It's so natural that they could even eat it!

Most tallow is produced from cows. However, Fat Mountain Farms' whipped tallow lotion comes directly from the fat of their grass-fed lambs.
Lamb fat has 80% more omega-3 fatty acids than beef fat, meaning it greatly helps reduce inflammation and is easily absorbed into your pet's skin.

Because it is a natural lotion, we recommend you use it up by six months. However, it does have a shelf life well over 12 months if left in the right conditions.
If you want this lotion to last longer, keep it at room temperature and out of the sunlight as much as possible.
